The welfare of the participating horses is always paramount at Eventing Flevoland . The attending competition veterinarians and all other national and international officials closely monitor this. In addition, Fenna Elzinga is joining our organization as an independent advisor on horse welfare. Fenna is an expert in the field of horse behavior and husbandry. She works daily with horses at her rehabilitation and rearing company Lelymare in Lelystad. She regularly shares her knowledge and experience in podcasts, during training sessions and with publications in leading equestrian magazines. Fenna advises the board of Eventing Flevoland on all aspects that can further promote the well-being of the horses, during their stay and participation in Emmeloord.
